When planning a mountain wedding in Utah, it's hard to beat October. This Snowbird Ski Resort celebration took full advantage of the season, pairing stunning alpine views with garden-inspired florals in warm, romantic tones.
Set high above Little Cottonwood Canyon, the day was surrounded by everything that makes fall in the mountains so beautiful. Golden aspens were still holding onto their leaves, evergreen-covered slopes framed the ceremony, and fresh snow dusted the peaks in the distance. The scenery felt dramatic without overpowering the wedding itself, creating the perfect backdrop for an intimate and thoughtful celebration.
The floral palette was inspired by the season while still feeling soft and romantic. Rich burgundy dahlias added depth and contrast alongside warm terracotta and caramel tones, creamy whites, soft blush blooms, and muted mauves. The combination felt colorful and inviting, with plenty of texture and movement throughout the designs.
The bridal bouquet featured a mix of seasonal blooms including dahlias, sweet peas, foxglove, roses, and calla lilies. Designed in a loose, garden-inspired style, it felt natural and effortless while still making a statement. The mix of deep burgundy and warm neutral tones tied beautifully into the overall floral palette seen throughout the day.
For the ceremony, lush floral arrangements lined the aisle and framed the altar space, creating a seamless connection between the flowers and the surrounding landscape. The floral installations felt abundant and organic, as though they had naturally grown into the mountainside around them.
As guests moved into the reception, the atmosphere shifted into something warm and inviting. Tables were filled with candlelight, delicate floral accents, and thoughtful details that complemented the mountain setting. Bud vases filled with garden roses and seasonal blooms added softness throughout the space, while the glow of the candles created an intimate atmosphere for the evening celebration.
This Snowbird Ski Resort wedding was a beautiful example of how seasonal flowers and intentional design can enhance an already incredible setting. With rich fall colors, romantic garden-inspired florals, and some of Utah's most stunning mountain views, it was a celebration that felt timeless, welcoming, and true to the season.
